Preserved moss wall clocks in olive wood

These clocks pair a live-edge olive wood slab with real preserved moss, giving you the soft green texture of a living wall in a piece that also keeps time. The moss is preserved, not living: it needs no water, soil or sunlight, and it keeps its colour indoors for years when it is kept away from high humidity, direct water and long hours of strong sun.

Where do moss clocks work best?

Living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and entryways — anywhere you want a calm, biophilic focal point. Because the movement is silent, they suit quiet rooms too. Avoid bathrooms with heavy steam and walls that get direct afternoon sun.

Care in one line

Do not water or mist the moss; dust the wood gently with a dry cloth. Read more in our care guide.

Prefer moss without a clock? Browse our moss wall art. We make every piece after you order in our workshop in Türkiye and ship it to the US with FedEx or UPS Express. Shipping is free on orders of $140 or more (a flat $29 below that), and we pay the US customs duties, so nothing is billed on delivery.

Questions, answered

Is the moss real?

Yes. It is real moss that has been preserved, so it keeps its soft texture and green colour without growing.

Do I need to water a preserved moss clock?

No — please don't. Preserved moss needs no water, soil or sunlight. Keep it indoors, away from excessive humidity, direct water and prolonged strong sunlight.

Is the clock movement silent?

Yes. All of our moss clocks use a silent, non-ticking quartz movement.

How long does a moss clock take to make?

Moss pieces are made in 3–5 business days after you order, then shipped to the US with FedEx or UPS Express.
